Wow, it's that time again ! Spring Rod Run - Pigeon Forge TN 4/15-17/2016 and we have a "Last Minute Cabin Opening" The actual Rod Run Competition takes place at the beautiful new LeConte Center 2986 Teaster Ln Pigeon Forge TN just a block off the Parkway. However, if you have never been to the show classic hot rods, vintage and muscle cars are EVERYWHERE and I do mean EVERYWHERE ! They start arriving and line the parking lots of the Pigeon Forge Parkway as much as a week prior to the event.
It is a feast for the eyes, ears and nostrils to those of you who appreciate racing fuel, roaring engines and awesome paint jobs on these magnificent vehicles.... But..... if you are not a fan of traffic galore and spending hours traveling at a snail's pace to see these mechanical works of art... you might want to choose another time to visit the Smokies!
IF YOU are NOT a Fan of the traffic and want to just Relax in a cabin for the glorious spring beauty of the Smoky Mountains - you really CAN avoid most of the traffic in Pigeon Forge with our expert advice for avoiding the traffic, etc... The Inspiration Point cabin location is just off Wears Valley Rd with easy access from Townsend to avoid the "Forge" traffic jam. Just ask !!! Our Wears Valley, TN - 3 bedroom/3 bath cabin - Inspiration Point Sleeps 6 adults and 1 child with an inflatable bed. It is open from Wednesday 4/13 until Sunday 4/17/16.
